Field Facilitator (3 positions)

CARE Bangladesh invites applications from qualified candidates for Avian Influenza Community Based Surveillance (CDC) project for the following positions, on contract up-to September 14, 2009, which may be extended
Key Responsibility :
  • Carry out comprehensive Situational Analysis to understand the gaps and issues related to AI prevention and control 
  • Facilitate participatory planning process to develop surveillance and control plan
  • Behavior Change Communication and Community mobilization activities.
  • Field report preparation and sharing
Core Qualifications and Competencies: :
  • Graduate in social science or equivalent subjects with minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in community mobilization initiatives/training facilititation
  • Facilitation skills and working experiences with community volunteers
  • Working experiences with local government and other GoB departments are desirable
  • Experience on participatory development and community led approach
  • Willing to stay at union for implementing project activities
  • Willing to drive Motor or Bicycle
  • Knowledge in computer operation,
  • Can work under pressure and in team
  • Good writing skills especially case study in bangla

Compensation:: Gross Salary for above position is Tk. 14,800.00 per month, plus other admissible benefits as per organizational policy.
