Project Officer (2 positions)
(Based at field).
CARE Bangladesh invites applications from qualified candidates for Avian Influenza Community Based Surveillance (CDC) project for the following positions, on contract up-to September 14, 2009, which may be extended
Key Responsibility :
  • Provide quality support to implementation of the project and monitor the progress and transform the   recommendations into actions 
  • Performance Management and field activities.
  • Community mobilization and reporting.
Core Qualifications and Competencies: :
  • Master in social science or equivalent subjects with minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in implementation of development project at field level. Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry/ MBBS or Master's in Public Health are encouraged to apply.
  • Working experiences in any operation research project or poultry/livestock initiatives will get preferences
  • Proven facilitation skills and working experiences with local government and other GoB departments and community volunteers.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and community mobilization skills.
  • Has monitoring skill and ability to analyze and interpret data from field.
  • Experience on participatory development and community led approach.
  • Ability to work/make regular field visit.
  • Ability to operate MS office and Bangla
  • Can work under pressure and in team

Compensation:Gross Salary for above position is Tk. 23,500.00 per month, plus other admissible benefits as per organizational policy
